IT37282: IBM SPECTRUM PROTECT PLUS UI IS IN HUNG STATE WHEN IT TRIES TO ACCESS AN EXTERNAL SITE

Error description

• When accessing IBM Spectrum Protect Plus UI version 10.1.8, it
  is in hung state without any message displayed. By checking
  "view page source" of the browser, it is found that IBM Spectrum
  Protect Plus tries to connect to an external site:
  
  https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/tether/1.4.7/js/tether.m
  in.js
  
  If IBM Spectrum Protect Plus virtual appliance does not have
  internet access, the hung condition happens. IBM Spectrum
  Protect Plus UI can be accessed once the attempt to reach above
  link times out.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus was fixed to remove the external
  library reference.   The required library is now included as
  part of deployment and referenced by the UI locally.
