Error description
Customer is using a db2consv_t.lic file in 11.1 fro several years but in 11.1.4.5 he received error -1598 He does not have the problem in 11.5. After investigation by L3 Rocket engineer, the root cause was identified. In the db2consv_t.lic in 11.1.4.5 we have extra line and ^M vi -b 111.db2consv_t.lic ^M [LicenseCertificate]^M CheckSum=C7E3B55AD3A54FAA15B02F4E451776B1^M TimeStamp=1463555591^M The problem is due to be the carriage return and we assume db2consv_t.lic provided by customer has windows carriage return format (new line) After converting it from Windows to Unix format the problem disappears. This file was working in previous 11.1 releases with no error
