IT37204: XMS .NET applications fail to load common services if the application name contains amqmxmsstd

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the application name contains XMS .NET Standard library name
  i.e "amqmxmsstd" then XMS .NET applications throw the following
  error:
  Exception caught: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type
  'IBM.XMS.Client.WMQ.XmsManagedCommonServices' from assembly
  'amqmxmsstdapp, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,
  PublicKeyToken=null'.
     at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly.GetType(RuntimeAssembly
  assembly, String name, Boolean throwOnError, Boolean
  ignoreCase, ObjectHandleOnStack type)
     at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly.GetType(String name,

Local fix

• Don't use XMS library name amqmxmsstd when creating the
  applications
  

Problem summary

  All XMS .NET applications which have the word "amqmxmsstd" as

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The logic used to load the "amqmxmsstd" library incorrectly
  evaluated the library name, meaning that the current application
  was considered a match if it contained this string.
  

Problem conclusion

• The MQ XMS client has been corrected to validate the assembly
  name of the resolved library when attempting to load the
  amqmxmsstd library.
