IT36848: UNABLE TO ADD MORE THAN 65536 CHARACTERS IN SI MAP EXTENDED RULE. THE MAP EDITOR CRASHES.

Error description

• Problem Statement: Unable to add more than 65536 characters in
  extended rule. The map editor crashes.
  
  Simulation Steps: Tried adding more than 65536 characters little
  by little using method described in APAR IT18196

  Supporting Documentation/Asset Location: Customer map
  (STM_SQM.mxl) and text of rule he wants to add on end of
  PARAMETER loop (DIM_Rules.txt) from 4/20.
  
  Observations: This worked using instructions from APAR in
  5.2.6.3_9 in the castle secure environment, but crashes when
  trying to open that in 6.0.1.

• Resolution Summary:
  A code fix is provided.
  
  When Map Editor is correcting the extended rule's CRLF
  recursively, it runs out of memory if the rule has thousands of
  CRLF to look into. A function is created to fix the CRLF in the
  extended rule without using recursion.
