  • Windows 2012 is not a supported platform for MQ 9.2.

Despite this fact, MQ V9.2 installer incorrectly states that
Windows 2012 is a valid target operating system.

operating system version.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An error in a Windows installer configuration file incorrectly
listed Windows 2012 as a valid platform.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM MQ Windows installer configuration has been updated to
correctly state that Windows 2012 is not a valid platform for
IBM MQ 9.2, in line with the published product compatibility
reports.

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
