Error description
From IBM Integration Bus v10.0.0.20 and IBM App Connect Enterprise v11.0.0.8, if an MQOutput node is configured with a Destination Mode of "Destination List", the values set in the LocalEnvironment MQ DestinationData subtree for fields replyToQ and replyToQMgr are ignored unless the MQ message type is a 'request'. It should be possible to set values for the replyToQ and replyToQMgr fields in the outgoing MQMD using the LocalEnvironment overrides regardless of MQ message type.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of the MQOutput node on IBM Integration Bus V10 and IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 and V12 where a "Reply-to queue" or "Reply-to queue Manager" property has previously been set on the node. Platforms affected: z/OS, MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: From IBM Integration Bus v10.0.0.20 and IBM App Connect Enterprise v11.0.0.8, if an MQOutput node is configured with a Destination Mode of "Destination List", the values set in the LocalEnvironment MQ DestinationData subtree for fields replyToQ and replyToQMgr are ignored unless the MQ message type is a 'request'. It should be possible to set values for the replyToQ and replyToQMgr fields in the outgoing MQMD using the LocalEnvironment overrides regardless of MQ message type. This problem was introduced by APAR IT24838.
Problem conclusion
The MQOutput node will now allow the replyToQ and replyToQMgr fields in the outgoing MQMD to be set using the LocalEnvironment overrides regardless of MQ message type when the Destination Mode is set to "Destination List". The environment variable MQSI_STRICT_REPLYTO_OVERRIDE_OFF introduced by APAR IT24838 has also been removed. When the "Request" property on an MQOutput node has been unchecked, any values previously configured in the "Reply-to queue manager " and "Reply-to queue" properties are grayed out and will NOT be used to override the MQMD header of the outgoing message. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v10.0 10.0.0.25 v11.0 11.0.0.16 v12.0 12.0.3.0 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006041 If the maintenance level is not yet available, information on its planned availability can be found on: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&uid=swg27006308 ---------------------------------------------------------------
