Error description

  • When the LDAP server fails to respond, the connections through
    ACE Webui or toolkit may fail to load due to an indefinite wait
    on LDAP operations to complete. The user needs a configurable
    option to specify a timeout value on LDAP connections to avoid
    such issues

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When the LDAP server fails to respond, the connections through
    ACE Webui or toolkit may fail to load due to an indefinite wait
    on LDAP operations to complete. A configurable option is
    required to specify a timeout value on LDAP connections to avoid
    such issues.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Two new properties ldapConnectTimeout & ldapReadTimeout are
    introduced. They can be set in the node.conf.yaml or
    server.conf.yaml(for stand-alone integration servers)  under
    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
    255)">RestAdminListener section.The properties</span> are used
    to specify a timeout value in seconds on LDAP connections and
    LDAP operations. Following is an example:
    
    RestAdminListener:
      ldapConnectTimeout: 10000
      ldapReadTimeout: 5000
    
    The default values of ldapConnectTimeout and ldapReadTimeout are
    120sec and 60sec respectively
