Error description
After some communication error occurs an mq front side handler may stop polling or reading from the queue. The mq-qm status will show no active connections: <TotalActiveConn>0</TotalActive Conn> <ActiveFrontConn>0</ActiveFrontConn> The administrative state of the mq-qm object and the front side handler are enabled and showing as UP but simply have no connections.
Local fix
A quick fix would be to increase the concurrent connections by 1 on the MQ front side handler and apply the change. This will force a connection pool change and allow the FSH to resume reading from the queue.
Problem summary
MQ stop processing when using MQ with SSL.
Problem conclusion
Fix is available in 2018.4.1.17 and 10.0.1.4.
