IT36037: AN INVALID CATALOG CLEAR DURING A PRODUCT DELETE EVENT

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Deleting a product it returns message "is not routed to any
    API
    collection" in log.
    In the gateway log you find a message
    
    stating "Successfully processed gateway clear" that it should
    
    occur when the last product in a catalog is deleted. But in
    
    this scenario this error appear even if there are still
    
    products in a catalog.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • For APIC user, sometimes when deleting a product, it returns the
     error message as below
    "The request URL '<url>' is not routed to any API collection."
    
    It also tries to delete the corresponding catalog although that
    catalog still has another product(s).
    

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • Restart the gateway pod
