APAR status

Error description

  • When an IP, other than the management one, is used, we fail the
Test Connection.
We will change the Test Connection so that we will be able to
monitor the storage system even if the Management IP can not be
accessed.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* Storage Insights fails connection to FlashSystem device      *
* when an IP (other than the management IP) is used.           *
* Storage Insights will fail when attempting the Test          *
* Connection.                                                  *

* This APAR code change alters the Test Connection so          *
* it will be able to monitor the storage system even if the    *
* Management IP can not be accessed.                           *
