IT35991: PCOM: V14 (64-BIT) PROBLEM WITH DISPLAYED FUNCTION KEYS AND HOTSPOT 3-D OPTIONS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This issue was last seen in IT34373 about selection problem
  when the 3D Hotspot is activated.
  
  This time the user is having
  problems with the display of function keys when the 3D Hotspot
  is activated in PCOMM 14.0.1 (64-bit).
  
  Some functions at the
  bottom of the AS400 Screen (which are set/supposedly hidden)
  are still appearing.
  
  These functions appear without any
  labels. When clicked, no actions are performed.
  
  On the other
  hand, PCOMM 14.0.1 (32-bit) is not showing this symptom.

  In PCOMM 64bit emulator when the 3D Hotspot button is enabled
  the hidden function keys are appearing on the screen without any
  label and no action is taken when clicking the function key.
  PCOMM 32bit emulator handles the hidden function keys correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• PCSWS.EXE code has been modified to handle the needed data Type
  for hidden function keys.
