APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When looking at the HA status for a queue manager in the MQ
Appliance Console, the status is always displayed as REPLICATED
for an HA queue manager, even if the queue manager is in
    PARTITIONED state.

Local fix

  • Use the 'status queueManagerName' command in the mqcli to check
    the HA status.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This affects users of the MQ Appliance console with high
    availability configured queue managers.

    Platforms affected:
    Linux on x86-64

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The "High Availability" tab of the "Manage" queue managers page
of the appliance web console always displayed the status of
queue managers as REPLICATED, even if the actual status was
PARTITIONED. The command line tools display the HA status of the
    queue managers correctly.

Problem conclusion

  • The console now displays the HA status of queue managers
    correctly.
