Error description
The QUERY PROCESS command appears to show the Replicate Node process has completed all its work. File spaces complete: 23991. File spaces identifying and replicating: 0. File spaces replicating: 0. File spaces not started: 0. Files current: 1,418,612,596. Files replicated: 5,642,779 of 5,642,779. Files updated: 6,348,859 of 6,348,859. Files deleted: 3,582,293 of 3,582,293. Amount replicated: 35,970 GB of 35,970 GB. Amount transferred: 65,926 MB. Elapsed time: 0 Days, 6 Hours, 11 Minutes. Subsequent QUERY PROCESS commands show no change with the process status and its statistics. If the process is manually cancelled with the CANCEL PROCESS process or if the process was started by an admin schedule and the schedule maxruntime is reached, the process status changes to "Replication is terminating" and the process does not end. For example : Process Process Process Status Number Description ------- ------------ ----------------------------------- 123 Replicate Replication is terminating. Node It is necessary to stop and restart the Spectrum Protect server to stop the hung replication process. Local fix
To prevent the hang, run the following Spectrum Protect server administrative command : SETOPT ReplDeletePriority LOW Once the fix is applied, run the following Spectrum Protect server administrative command : SETOPT ReplDeletePriority HIGH
