APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer has a service account user which is greater that 8
characters and B2Bi version in use if 6004. However, the
stopContainer.sh is not working, but the script hardstop.sh
works to kill the container pids.

Local fix

  • The script stopContainer.sh needs to be fixed to correct fetch
the pids for container processes for users having more than 8
characters in the name.

Problem Description:
The script stopContainer.sh does not work when the user's
account name is more than eight characters.
Customer has a service account user name which is more than 8
characters and the B2Bi version that is in use is 6004. When the
script stopContainer.sh does not stop the container processes,
they continue to run. When the user tries it start the
container, they get the error. Though the stopContainer.sh is
not working, the script hardstop.sh works to stop the container
pids.

process ids when the user name is more than eight characters.
