APAR status

Error description

  • When migrating MQ Appliance from 9.1 to 9.2 the HA queue
managers with DR configuration are placed in Migration Pending
state.
This status remains unchanged even if the DR configuration is
deleted.

USERS AFFECTED:
All MQ Appliance users migrating from 9.1 to 9.2 and have queue
managers configured for HA and DR.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When a HA QMgr is removed from DR, then it no longer needs to be
migrated, so it should not be in "Migration Pending" state.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The MQ Appliance code has been modified to remove the Migration
Pending flag when the DR definition of the queue manager is
removed.
