  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A VM (or any other object) might not be available for restore
    when starting the restore wizard.
    This happens if for any
    reason (e.g. a failure of the last backup) the latest version
    of an object (like a VM) is removed from the recovery catalog,
    then the older recovery points will not be available.

Local fix

  • Running a new backup of the object will correct the recovery
    catalog and all the restore points are available again.
    If a
    new backup is not possible, support will need to correct the
    catalog manually.
