IT35025: FILE SYSTEM BACKUP FAILED WITH PYWINTYPES.ERROR: (53 'WNETADDCONNECTION2' 'THE NETWORK PATH WAS NOT FOUND.')

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If a vSnap has multiple network cards enabled SMB services, the
  file system agent tries to use the first address only. When the
  first IP address is not reachable from the file server, the
  error would be generated.
  

Local fix

• Remove SMB services on vSnap for the network that is not
  reachable.
  
  SMB can be removed using this command "vsnap
  network update --id <ID> --services "mgmt,repl,nfs,iscsi" for
  this (see https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSNQFQ_10.
  1.7/spp/r_spp_vsnap_admin_ref_network_manage.html).

Problem conclusion

• File system agent will use "remoteHost" which should contain the
  correct IP address, thus continue backup without the issue.
