    might fail with the following messages,  seen in the job log :

    the noexec option.

Local fix

  • Verify the Operating system's permissions on folder /tmp on
    the proxy host that is used for Microsoft 365 backups.
    If /tmp is mounted using the noexec option, this needs to be
    removed.
    Run the following command to verify current mount options:
    
    mount | grep /tmp
    
    If /tmp is mounted using noexec option, edit /etc/fstab and
    remove noexec.
    Remount using :
    
    mount -o remount /tmp
    
    Retry the backup to confirm local fix is working.

Problem conclusion

  • This problem has been fixed so that after encountering /tmp
    partition mounted with noexec option, the agent will continue
