IT34981: AVAILABLE ITEMS OF BACKUP OR OBJECT STORAGE INCORRECTLY DISPLAYED WHEN RESTORING A PVC FROM SNAPSHOT VIA SPP USER INTERFACE

Error description

• When a restore job is initiated through SPP user interface by
  browsing to "Create Job" > "Restore" > "Kubernetes", clicking
  "Origin" > "From Snapshot" on the "Source snapshot" pane, not
  only the list of available snapshots is displayed, but also the
  list of available items of "backup" and "object storage" is
  shown, which should not be displayed there.
  
  This display issue
  can be misleading when trying to actually restore a PVC from a
  copy backup by mistakenly selecting the "Origin" > "From
  Snapshot", instead of using "Origin" > "From Copy", which can
  cause the restore job fail with the errors like below in
  joblog:
  ERROR,timestamp,2,CTGGA1126,There are no copies for the
  source volume name (spp_1027_2127_174B151C6CA) ID (34) storage
  server ID (2101)
  ERROR,timestamp,2,CTGGA1110,No selected item

Local fix

• When restoring a PVC from a copy backup is needed, ensure that
  the "Origin" > "From Copy" is selected on the Source snapshot
  pane.
