APAR status

Error description

  • Attempting to use custom X12EnvelopeUnified service in Sterling
Integrator 6.0.3 using the Customization UI does not work. When
an outbound EDI process is run the default X12EnvelopeUnified
service is still used.
If the entry is made though in the
customer_overrides.properties file and the same business
process is used, the correct custom X12EnvelopeUnified service
is used.

Enveloping properties created in the Customization UI are
not being utilized by the Enveloping Service to override the

name of the default Business Process to be used by the service.

  • Resolution Summary:
A code fix is provided.
The B2BI Enveloping service was updated to use the
properties read from the database via the Customization UI
instead of exclusively

from the disk.
