• On the AIX platform, the ESQL REPLACE function performed on a
  BLOB string greater than 24 bytes in length may result in an
  abend or the wrong output being generated.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  On the AIX platform, the ESQL REPLACE function performed on a
  BLOB string greater than 24 bytes in length may result in an
  abend or the wrong output being generated.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product now no longer abends when the ESQL REPLACE function
  is performed on BLOB strings on the AIX platform.
