IT34336: MQGET fails with 2004 MQRC_BUFFER_ERROR

Error description

• MQ application fails with MQRC_BUFFER_ERROR and MQ trace
  indicates
  a memory exception(e.g. SIGSEGV) in zstMQGET_CheckParms followed
  by MQRC_BUFFER_ERROR.

Local fix

• Specify the buffer size in multiples of 128K(131072 bytes).

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  MQGET API has validation to check the addressability of the
  buffer address specified by the application
  in the MQGET call based on the buffer length. However a defect
  in the validation code caused MQ
  to access an address beyond 4 GB(maximum for 32 bit process and
  the address exceeding 4 GB would be
  less than 4GB in a 32-bit process) resulting in a memory
  exception and the MQGET failing with MQRC_BUFFER_ERROR.
  

Problem conclusion

• MQ code has been modified to correct the defect in the buffer
  address validation.
