APAR status

Error description

  • After the database password is encrypted in the properties
    files, the server is started up. After some time
    (less than 30mins), the database user for the server is locked
    out of the database. ORA-01005 is observed by the database
    administrators.

Problem conclusion

  •  Resolution Summary:
    
    A code fix is provided.
    This issue was caused by the Liberty server which hosts the
    B2BAPIs, and the CustomizationUI. During startup 4 database
    connections are attempted and the classes needed to decrypt the
    passwords were not available. Resolution was to update the
    database
    connection handling to decrypt the passwords for a successful
    connection.
