IT34212: LOG BACKUPS DO NOT WORK WHEN EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD CONTAINS $

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If log backup is enabled for Exchange database, by the first
  running of the SLA policy, the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus for
  Exchange agent try to create a Windows schedule task.  But when
  the Exchange administrator password contains $ character, it
  fails with message CTGGA2081 reported.
  
  The message looks like "Failed to create a task for log backup
  in Windows Task Scheduler.  Failed to enable log backup for
  spdb.1 or there were some considerable errors. For more
  information  see the diagnostic logs for this operation."

Problem conclusion

• When Exchange administrator password contains "$", the enable
  log backup operation fails with CTGGA2081, "Failed to create a
  task for log backup in Windows Task Scheduler. ". To fix this
  "$" need to be escaped.
