Local fix

  • Ensure MQCONN connection is cleanly disconnected with MQDISC
    before ending thread

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Multi-threaded Asynchronous Consume client applications that end
    threads without calling MQDISC

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When an Asynchronus consume thread ends without calling MQDISC,
the agent thread detects the ending of the thread and frees up
resources allocated during MQCONN(X). When the application ends,
the registered destructor is called and this performs further
cleanup of these resources. A timing window existed where the
destructor's freeing up of these resources may have resulted in
    invalid memory accesses

Problem conclusion

  • The MQ Asynchronous Consume client code has been changed to
ensure the destructor is called before the resources are freed.
