Error description

  • The mqsibar command with the -c flag fails when the bar file
    contains .xsdzip files.
    
    The error is
    BIP8081E: An error occurred while processing the command.
    
    Service trace shows "Exception generating runtime objects:
    java.lang.NullPointerException"

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 using the mqsibar -c
    command when the BAR file contains .xsdzip files.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    Windows on x86-64 platform, Linux on x86-64 platform, Linux on
    Power platform, Linux on zSeries platform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The mqsibar command with compile option -c fails when a BAR file
    contains message sets with .xsdzip files. The displayed error is
    "BIP8081E: An error occurred while processing the command."
    
    The trace will show "Exception generating runtime objects:
    java.lang.NullPointerException"
    

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsibar command with the -c option now no longer throws a
    java.lang.NullPointerException when the BAR file contains
    .xsdzip files.
