APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the Integration Server is attempted to stop then the
    monitoring events associated with the currently processing input
    messages may not get published. There won't be any error logged
    in the broker syslog file but the Integration Server service
    trace shows the following entry in it.
    
    ImbPublicationHelper::publishMessage , 'We have been stopped!
    dont attempt to publish'
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM AppConnect Enterprise V11.0 and IBM Integration
    Bus V10.0 using the monitoring events.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When attempted to stop the Integration Server, its seen that the
    monitoring events generated by message flows, before the
    integration server shuts down, are not published . There won't
    be any error logged in the broker syslog file but the
    Integration Server service trace shows the following entry in
    it.
    
    ImbPublicationHelper::publishMessage , 'We have been stopped!
    dont attempt to publish'
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product now correctly publishes all the generated monitoring
    events after receiving a 'stop' command on the integration
    server.
