APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In a queue manager configured with Adopt MCA and channel
    triggering
    the channels are slow to start. Additionally the
    SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ
    queue depth increases and takes a long period of time to
    decrease.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    A defect in MQ channel status table lock management when
    adopting a channel caused the messages to be processed slowly
    resulting in slow channel startup and high queue depth in
    SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ.
    

Problem conclusion

  • MQ code has been modified to resolve problem in MQ channel
    status table lock management.
