  • After updating to Fixpack 9.0.0.8 or 9.1.0.3 the event message
( MQRC_CHANNEL_STOPPED 2283)  is not generated when
a CLUSRCVR channel is stopped
                                       .

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of MQ 9.0.0.8 and later, and MQ 9.1.0.3 and later who
monitor for channel stopped events


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The user stopped a CLUSRCVR channel but a defect in the queue
manager code prevented the expected
event message ( MQRC_CHANNEL_STOPPED 2283) from being put to the
event queue.

This issue was introduced by the 9.0 LTS and 9.1 LTS code
changes documented under APAR
IT28243, other
versions containing the fix for APAR IT28243 are
unaffected.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The defect has been fixed and the event message is put to the
event queue as expected.
