Error description

  • When serializing a double value with the JSON parser scientific
notation will be used by default. So for example serializing
the value "9.81" would result in "9.81E+0" being written to the
    JSON output tree.

This APAR adds an option to serialize using
    decimal notation from double values.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR introduces the property allowScientificNotation to the
JSON stanza of the server.conf.yaml file.

When set to true this allows the JSON parser to use scientific
notation when serializing a double value.

When set to false this forces the parser to use standard decimal
    notation.

the default value of this property is "true" and changes require
an Integration Server restart to become effective.
