Error description

• After installing Spectrum Protect Plus File System protection
  and registering a new host the backup may show an I/O error when
  writing to the metadata file.  The backup will not succeed.
  
  Example of error:
  CTGGT0170 An error occurred trying to commit the metadata to the
  database.

Problem conclusion

• Metadata IOErrors due to large transactions are resolved by
  disabling SQLite cache spill and using exclusive locking mode to
  avoid problems while writing to the db file.
