Consumer App gets "401 Unauthorized" after introducing a new version of an API with different security configuration

Problem summary
For IBM APIC user, if there are two (or more) SOAP APIs defined with the same base path but different versions, then when the consumer application invokes the API to the corresponding production, it might return the error for incorrect client ID.
