APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When ACE Admin Security is configured using LDAP for
    authentication, and optionally authorization it will initially
    operate as expected. However after either a large number of
    logins, or apiv2 REST API calls with BasicAuth headers, valid
    access requests can become rejected with the underlying cause
    being reporting as ECONNRESET. Also large numbers of socket
    connections to the LDAP server are observed.
    

Local fix

  • There is no local fix and the Integration Node, or standalone
    Integration Server must be restarted to clear the issue.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

    that App Connect Enterprise </span><span

    connections to the LDAP server for every user login. This may
    cause failure if the LDAP server starts rejecting new
    </span><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
    255)">connections after a point. </span>
