• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An issue when loading shapes with the loadshp command.
  
  Whenever the last record contains a null value for the spatial
  column of shapefile. This makes it impossible to load the
  generated shapefile with the loadshp command.
  
  loadshp -o create -l test_avl,geom -f test_avl -D dwh -srid 5
  -log /tmp
  
  Rejecting rows 941 ...
  
  seeing the following errors:
  -1213: A character to numeric conversion process failed

  As part of this fix we have introduced a new option -fla to
  ingest the *.dbf files which contains '*' symbols in them in
  NUMERIC fields.
  The loadshp utility can be used as below for example:
  loadshp -o create -l test_avl,geom -f test_avl -D dwh -srid 5
  -log /tmp -fla
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in Informix Server 12.10.xC15 and 14.10.xC5.
