Error description

  • Affected are customers using the First Alive algorithm in DNS
    settings

DataPower only uses the Time To Live (TTL) value in
    the DNS A Record.
The device should also consider the TTL
value passed in the CNAME field, then use this value if it is
shorter than the TTL value of the A Record

Local fix

  • Customers can work around this issue by using the Round Robin
    algorithm in DNS settings

Problem summary

  • The fix will compare the TTL from the A/AAAA & CNAME records and
     choose the minimum.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
