Error description

  • MQ Managed File Transfer does not validate the dates and times
    when a scheduled
transfer is created. This means that syntactically correct but
semantically invalid transfers can be scheduled.

If a user runs fteListScheduledTransfers and a message that has
a semantically incorrect date and time combination is scheduled
    the following error occurs:

BFGPR0127W: No credentials file has been specified to connect
to IBM MQ. Therefore, the assumption is that IBM MQ
authentication has been disabled. BFGCL0115E: The XML parser
has detected the following error in an XML message
    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-pattern-valid: Value
<DATE/TIME>' is not facet-valid with respect to pattern
    '[\n\r\t
    ]*\d{4}\-(0[1-9]|1[0-2])\-(0[1-9]|[1-2][0-9]|3[0-1])T([0-1][0-9]
    |2[0-3]):[0-5][0-9]([\+\-]\d{4}|Z)?[\n\r\t ]*' for type
    'noZoneTimeType'..
BFGCL0115E: The XML parser has detected the following error in
    an XML message org.xml.sax.SAXParseException:
cvc-complex-type.2.2: Element 'submit' must have no element
[children], and the value must be valid.
BFGCL0118E: An internal error occurred while attempting to read
    the XML message.

There is no schedule ID listed so the user is unable to use
    fteDeleteScheduledTransfer to remove this transfer.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users of IBM MQ Managed File Transfer, who
have agents that process scheduled transfers.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The fteListScheduledTransfers command is used to display all of
the scheduled transfers that have been previously created.

If a scheduled transfer was created that contained some invalid
information, such as incorrect timezone information, then when
the fteListScheduledTransfers command was run, it would be
unable to successfully parse the scheduled transfer definition.
As a result, error messages similar to the ones shown below
would be written to the console:

BFGCL0115E: The XML parser has detected the following error in
    an XML message org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-pattern-valid:
Value '2020-05-04T01:00+0000+0000' is not facet-valid with
    respect to pattern '[\n\r\t
    ]*\d{4}\-(0[1-9]|1[0-2])\-(0[1-9]|[1-2][0-9]|3[0-1])T([0-1][0-9]
    |2[0-3]):[0-5][0-9]([\+\-]\d{4}|Z)?[\n\r\t ]*' for type
    'noZoneTimeType'..
BFGCL0115E: The XML parser has detected the following error in
    an XML message org.xml.sax.SAXParseException:
cvc-complex-type.2.2: Element 'submit' must have no element
[children], and the value must be valid..
BFGCL0118E: An internal error occurred while attempting to read
    the XML message.

These error messages did not include the schedule ID of the
scheduled transfer that was being processed when the invalid
data was detected. This meant that it was not possible to
    identify the invalid scheduled transfer.

Problem conclusion

  • The fteListScheduledTransfer command has been updated so that if
it detects an issue while processing a scheduled transfer
definition, it will now display error messages similar to the
    ones shown below:

BFGCL0810E: The XML parser detected an error when processing the
scheduled transfer with ID '2'. The problem element was 'submit'
    and the exception was 'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException:
    cvc-pattern-valid: Value '2020-05-04T01:00+0000+0000' is not
facet-valid with respect to pattern '[\n\r\t
    ]*\d{4}\-(0[1-9]|1[0-2])\-(0[1-9]|[1-2][0-9]|3[0-1])T([0-1][0-9]
    |2[0-3]):[0-5][0-9]([\+\-]\d{4}|Z)?[\n\r\t ]*' for type
    'noZoneTimeType'.'
BFGCL0810E: The XML parser detected an error when processing the
scheduled transfer with ID '2'. The problem element was 'submit'
    and the exception was 'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException:
cvc-complex-type.2.2: Element 'submit' must have no element
[children], and the value must be valid.'

These messages include the schedule id of the invalid scheduled
    transfer.

The fteDeleteScheduledTransfer command can then be run, to
    delete this scheduled transfer.
