Error description

  • Currently only the base path of an API is used when determining
the routing to the execution group. This change will enhance
IIB so that we allow the full path to route to the Execution
Group rather than just the base path so avoiding REST API URL
collisions.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Currently only the base path of an API is used when registering
REST API paths
with the HTTP listeners. This change will enhance IIB so that we
allow the paths to be
customized rather than always using the base path, thereby
avoiding REST API URL
collisions when subpath routing is needed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • New function has been added to allow a customized path under the
API path to be used rather than just the base path.

To use the new function the environment variable
MQSI_REST_APP_ALLOW_CUSTOM_URL must be set to '1', and the URL
specifier on the HTTP Input node in the REST API flow must be
changed to a custom path.
