IT32642: CONTINUOUS ERROR MESSAGES EVEN AFTER POLICY HAS REACHED CONSENSUS

APAR status

Error description

  • When a customer has a cluster of gateways and applies a
    GatewayExtension, the devices will continuously output error
    messages as below even after reaching consensus:
    
    Gateway preconfigured policy status: in consensus: [], not in
    consensus
    

Local fix

  • The error message can be ignored.
    

Problem summary

  • When the user uses Multi-Gateway cluster, and adds the
    user-defined policies to the Gateway, in some condition the
    user will see the repeating error message in some (but
    not all) Gateways.
    

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • Ignore the error message since the function is not impacted.
