Problem conclusion
Mount operation can fail in case the LVM volume being processed has UUID collision with the mount proxy system. Currently, the problem can only be identified with Spectrum Protect service tracing on Linux mount proxy. The fix improves serviceability by adding following warning message to UI console and to mount proxy?s dsmerror.log. ANS3188W A duplicate UUID exists for LVM device ?<varname id=?arg1?>new_device_name</varname>?. The device cannot be mounted. As a result, files from this device will not be restored.
