Error description

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus maintenance fails to cleanup jobs.
    The error message seen in the maintenance job refers to a
      null pointer as seen below:

Problem conclusion

  • Certain data conditions may cause the maintenance job to
    incorrectly report a failure to cleanup a job when job is
    checking for snapshot relationships is working correctly. This
    problem has been corrected with a code change.
