    runmqsc TESTER

Starting MQSC for queue manager TESTER.

    AMQ8135: Not authorized.

Local fix

  • Use an userid with no space in 12th character.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users on Windows who have user IDs with a space character in the
    12th position.

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The current user ID is represented within MQ as a space-padded
12 character field. Longer user IDs are truncated. MQ did not
correctly account for the possibility of the space character
being part of the real user ID when the space appeared in the
12th position, and this prevented the full length user ID being
    used when performing authority checks.

Problem conclusion

  • The queue manager authorisation logic has corrected to handle a
space in the 12th character of the user id.
