APAR status

Error description

  • If there is a hang or delay in the registration of
    CallableInput node with the switch server, it can block the
    execution of every CallableFlowInvoke nodes deployed in the
    integration server.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">All Users of
    App Connect Enterprise v11 and IBM Integration Bus V10 using
    Callable nodes. </span>
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">If there is a
    hang or delay in the registration of a </span><span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">CallableInput or
    CallableInvoke node with the switch server, it can block the
    </span><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
    255)">execution of other CallableFlowInvoke nodes that were
    already deployed and running in the </span><span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">integration server.
    
    This issue can also occur if a hang or delay occurs while
    deregistering the Callable nodes as part of un-deployment of an
    Application containing Callable nodes.</span>
    

Problem conclusion

  • Product no longer affects the execution of already deployed
    CallableFlowInvoke nodes if there happens to be a failure in
    registering or deregistering of Callable nodes as part of new
    Application deployment.
