IT31790: JOB LOG REPORT IS NOT SHOWING CORRECTLY WITH RESTORE TO ALTERNATE LOCATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus for Microsoft Exchange did not use
  correct db primary key in output.json. When restore to alternate
  database, the DB guid will be changed. In the output.json, we
  should use the original DB guid as the primary key. But in
  current code, we used the new DB guid as DB primary key and this
  caused SPP server cannot find the restored DB in the
  output.json.
  

Local fix

• Ignore the incorrect counter in the restore report.

Problem conclusion

• When restore Exchange database to alternate location, the
  Exchange server will generate new GUID for the restored
  database. In the orignal SPP Exchange agent code, we use this
  new GUID as the Primary key of output database. But SPP server
  doesn't know this new primary key and caused it cannot find the
  result of the restored database.
  To fix this problem, use the original primary key in the output
  database json object.
