On API Connect v5, the response header content-type is value application/json;charset=utf-8 On API Connect v2018.4.1.8iFix2.0 over IKS (IBM Kubernetes Service) the response header content-type does not include the charset. Even if the header is explicitly set to the value application/json;charset=utf-8
Local fix
Problem summary
When the gateway gets the backside response which includes the charset parameter in the Content-Type, if the Message Body is processed in the assembly, then the charset value might be truncated. If the response just passes through the gateway, then there is no problem.
