Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of App Connect Enterprise on Cloud deploying Graphical
Data Maps referencing a JSON schema and those of App Connect
Enterprise version 11 using mqsibar with the "-c" flag to deploy
Graphical Data Maps which reference JSON schemas.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">The classpath
entry which allows mqsibar to find the jackson java libraries
was hard coded. One of these entries contained a typo and as a
result mqsibar was unable to locate the classes required to
compile a Graphical Data Map which references a JSON schema. The
following error message would be written to the error
    log:</span>

BIP8075E: A Java exception was caught from class
    'com/ibm/broker/config/util/GenerateRuntimeObjects.main'. The
    text is 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
    com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.JsonNode'. A Java exception was
caught via the JNI. Check preceding messages for related errors
and retry the operation. If the exception still occurs, contact
    your IBM support center.

    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">This affects
only deploy of bar files where the Graphical Data Map is not
pre-compiled such as those performed using the mqsibar command
    with the -c flag.

When running on App Connect Enterprise on Cloud all deploys are
processed using mqsibar -c and therefore all deploys of affected
artifacts will result in a "<span
style="font-size:14px">Preparation Failed" error when an attempt
    to deploy is made. </span></span>

Problem conclusion

  • App Connect Enterprise on Cloud has been updated to correct the
classpath issue. App Connect Enterprise has been updated so that
the paths to the Jacskon libraries are no longer hard coded.
