IT31490: MQSICHANGEPROPERTIES ON USERDEFINED CONFIGURABLE SERVICE CAUSE BIP8231E OR BIP8068E

Error description

• If you use certain names like 'port' for a PropertyName of a
  UserDefined configurable service then it is treated as an
  integer field.
  
  Setting a non-integer value for the
  PropertyName causes a BIP8068E error and an integer value
  exceeding the max limit causes a BIP8231E error.

  All Users of App Connect Enterprise v11 and IBM Integration Bus
  V10.0 using mqsichangeproperties command to alter the property
  value of UserDefined Policy or configurable service.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  z/OS, MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  If you use certain
  names like 'port' for a PropertyName in a UserDefined Policy or
  configurable service then it is incorrectly treated as an
  integer field. Setting a non-integer value for such PropertyName
  using mqsichangeproperties command can cause a BIP8068E error.
  Also, if you specify an integer value which is higher than the
  max value allowed for integer field it cause a BIP8231E error.
  
  This problem is caused as a result of the product treating
  certain field of the UserDefined policy or configurable service
  as integer fields based on their names.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product no longer treats the properties of UserDefined
  configurable service or policy files as integer fields based on
  their names.
