Error description
Starting from ACE 11.0.0.6, a standalone integration server on Windows cannot be started when the local CCSID has been set, or is determined to be, 943 due to the following error: C:\Users\gb120268.GB120268-WINDOW> IntegrationServer -w goldfinch Caught unhandled exception in main: BIP2136E: Source character ''5c00'' in field ''43003a005c00550073006500720073005c 00670062003100320030003200360038002e0047004200310032003000320036 0038002d00570049004e0044004f00 ...data truncated to first 64 chars'' cannot be converted from Unicode to codepage '943'. : C:\S000\WMB\src\CommonServices\ImbConverter.cpp: 734: ImbConverterCPP::internalFromUnicode: : .... This occurs because the Integration Server startup routines resolve CCSID 943 to the ICU codepage ibm-943_P130-1999, which cannot encode the backslash character (U+005c), rather than to ibm-943_P15A-2003 which can correctly encode the backslash character. The unconvertable text show in the exception will be part of the absolute path to the Integration Server work directory, encoded as UTF-16LE.
Local fix
Set the MQSI_LOCAL_CCSID environment variable to a different codepage number like 932.
