APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a BAR file is deployed with properties set as below
    
    
    CommitCount = 1
    CommitInterval = 0
    
    The ACE V11 WebUI shows
    commitInterval=5.
    The runtime behaviour is not affected though
    as it honors the commitInterval value of 0.

Problem summary

    All users of  App Connect Enterprise V11

    AIX, Windows on x86-64 platform, Linux on zSeries platform,
    Linux on x86-64 platform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Messageflows have wrong default value for CommitInterval .
    Therefore if a BAR file is deployed with default properties set
    as below
    
    CommitCount = 1
    CommitInterval = 0
    
    when  queried through WebUI or REST API the  commitInterval is
    displayed as 5.
    The runtime behaviour is not affected though and is consistent
    with the properties set on the bar file.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The message flow defaults are now set correctly such that the
    CommitInterval value is displayed in accordance to  the values
    set on the bar file.
