    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
If a publication node tries to publish a message which has been
backed out by an MQInput node, the publish fails with MQRC
2417(MQRC_MSG_NOT_ALLOWED_IN_GROUP). The system log reports a
    BIP7122E error message.

    BIP7122E: ( BKR10.default ) Failure occurred putting a message
to the queue manager on topic ''myTopic''. The WebSphere MQ
    reason code is '2417'.

While backing out the failed message, the message segmentation
option flag (MQMF_SEGMENTATION_ALLOWED) is set which is causing
the 'MQRC_MSG_NOT_ALLOWED_IN_GROUP' error if a subsequent
attempt to publish the message is made using a Publication Node.

Problem conclusion

  • The product no longer causes 'MQRC_MSG_NOT_ALLOWED_IN_GROUP'
error while publishing a backed out MQ message.
