IT31033: EXCHANGE AGENT DOES NOT USE 'MAXIMUM CONCURRENT DATABASES' OPTION DURING BACKUP OPERATION

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Exchange agent does not honor option 'Maximum concurrent
  databases' in the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus GUI -> Manage
  Protection -> Applications -> Exchange -> Manage application
  servers.
  Even if 'Maximum concurrent databases' is set to 10, the agent
  will backup the Exchange database serially.
  The joblog of the Exchange backup shows:

  AST,2,CTGGA3076,[IBM-EXC.xxx.xxx.xxx] The option
  maxParallelDatabases is set to 1.

Problem conclusion

• In backup job, IBM Spectrum Protect Plus  Exchange agent will
  backup the databases one by one. The "Maximum Concurrent
  Databases" option will be ignored.
  The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Exchange agent should handle the
  "Maximum Concurrent Databases" option of input.json, start
  threads to backup databases in parallel.
